The beginning of your Jewish Heritage escorted tour begins with a drive along the beautiful costal plains in to Caesarea, a port city built by Herod the Great and once the Judea capital under Roman rule. Explore the incredible archelogical ruins and see the aqueduct, amphitheatre, and excavations of the crusaders and ancient city. Continue to Haifa for a breathtaking view from Mount Carmel. Next we'll drive to Acre and walk along its old harbor and local market. Continue to the northernmost point of Israel at Rosh Hanikra. Descend by cable into the limestone grottoes.

After a Israeli breakfast in your hotel we’ll drive to Safed, center of the Kaballa movement; visit the Joseph Caro synagogue and the Ha’Ari synagogue, the most important synagogues in the city; stroll around the Artists' quarter. Next we’ll explore on a Jeep tour at the foot of the Golan. After we continue to Golan Heights and stop at Gadot overlook (Mitzpe Gadot), the memorial site for the fallen of the Golan, located over former Syrian bunkers and see the monument built on site in honor of the Alexandroni brigade; proceed for a magnificent observation point over the city of Keuneitra, and the Syrian territory. Visit the Banias springs. Next we’ll see Tel-Hai and see the “Roaring Lion” monument and learn about the heroic battle of Josef Trumpeldor and his comrades in 1920. Meet with a Kibbutz member and learn about their unique lifestyle.

Beit Alpha Alpha to admire the beautiful mosaic floor of a synagogue discovered in 1929. Visit Gan Hashlosha national park and enjoy the warm spring water pools and waterfalls. Continue via the Jordan valley to Jerusalem; stop at Mount Scopus for a blessing as you enter the city.

Yad Vashem / Mt. Herzl / Ammunition Hill / Israel Museum
Enjoy seeing the Bar-Mitzvah ceremonies at the Kotel. Drive through Mea Shearim, one of the oldest Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem and learn about the unique lifestyle of the ultra-orthodox communities. Precede to Mount Hertzel, the military cemetery, and Yad Vashem the memorial to the Holocaust. Visit the Ammunition Hill, a former Jordanian army stronghold, conquered by the Israeli army in the six day war, and converted into a national memorial site and museum. Drive by the Knesset, Israel’s parliament and see the Menorah with the biblical emblems. Next visit the Israel Museum, the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed, and the Holyland model, a miniature replica of Jerusalem as it was during the second temple period.

Enjoy and see the Judean Desert when we drive to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth. Beginning with a stop at Qumran, the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls where found in 1947 by a Bedouin local boy. We’ll continue to perhaps one of the most impressive sites in Israel to the fortress of Masada, and the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 A.D. Here we ascend by cable car high up to Masada and tour the ancient fortress exploring the food storeroom, water irrigation system, bath houses and King Herod’s Palace. After we descend Masada by cable car, and stop for lunch and local spa facilities in one of the leading hotels in the area.

At 10:00 a.m. after enjoying your breakfast, drive to the Red Sea on way South to the Taba border. After crossing the Taba (Israel/Egypt Border) you will be met and assisted by our representatives and transferred to your hotel at the foot of Mt. Sinai. Visit Saint Catherine Monastery located at the foot of Mt. Sinai the oldest working Christian Monastery. Saint Catherine Monastery was built in 557 A.C by the Roman Emperor Justinian, and where it’s believed God appeared to Moses in the form of a burning bush. Enjoy a time of praise and incredible views of the Sinai wilderness, where in the book of Genesis God revealed himself to Moses and where he received the Ten Commandments.

After breakfast meet at hotel’s lobby and depart Sinai traveling west through the Sinai Peninsula going through the tunnel under the Suez Cannel . Drive under the Red Sea, following what is thought to be the route of Exodus by the Children of Israel, continue to Cairo.

After a good nights rest enjoy a breakfast buffet, and then meet your Egyptologist guide to start the tour and visit one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient World, the 3 Pyramids of Giza. Cheops Pyramid (the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza Necropolis built in the 3rd dynasty about 2690 B.C as a tomb for Egyptian Pharaoh Khufu), Pyramids of Chefren, and at the bottom of the Pyramid Chechen lies the majestic Great Sphinx, which is the largest single block sculpture. Enjoy an opportunity to ride a camel by the Pyramids followed by a visit to the Solar Boat museum, whose main attraction is an ancient Egyptian cedar wood dating back 4500 years. Continue to visit the famous Egyptian Museum where we shall provide you with a brief but colorful insight into the five thousand years of Egypt’s fascinating history. Afterwards we visit Old Cairo, and the city’s cultural landmarks that span three millennia of Egypt’s history. We begin with you visiting the Hanging Church, Cairo's most famous Coptic Church first built in the 3rd or 4th century AD. This basilica was named "Al-Mu'allaqah" for its location above a gatehouse of the Babylon Fortress. Continue to the Church of St. Sergius, a 5th century Coptic Church. This basilica is built on the cave in which the Holy Family stayed and is regarded by visitors as a source of blessing. As we stroll along, we will come to the recently restored Synagogue of Ben Ezra - the oldest Jewish synagogue in Egypt built in 882 AD. Next, we will explore the spices and silks in the medieval bazaar of Khan el-Khalili, one of the biggest bazaars in the Middle East and North Africa’s most famous bazaar. Lunch will be served during the tour at a local restaurant. Return to hotel.
